Ellen has always enjoyed traveling and experiencing life from another perspective, which she tries to capture in her photography. She spent her teenage years in London, where she first found her interest in photography, thanks to her mentor, whom she considered her older brother. Soon she began to spend her days in the darkroom watching pictures come to life, watching a previously blank photo paper fill with a thousand emotions. Although her mentor is no longer with us, his guidance has inspired her to continue and capture the beauty of everyday life.

Ellen began to take her photography more seriously in 2009. Soon it was no longer just a hobby but a serious part of her everyday life. Her philosophy, when it comes to her photography is simplicity. She tries to capture the emotion and beauty from world around us which we may not notice because of our busy lives. Her goal is to show the life of an ordinary person in an extraordinary way. Ellen may be new to the world of photography, however as her passion continues to grow so does the dept and emotion shown in her work.
